Despite New York’s winning ways of late, Mr. Met was not happy with the heckling after the game, and he flipped off the fans. Of course because it’s 2017, people caught this on video. Mets have already apologized for the individual who wears the costume.

Now, I think this is awesome. Why? Well, I’m a bit immature at times and love shit like this when people do things they aren’t supposed to do. Obviously, Mets took a hard stance on this for multiple reasons. One is the fact that mascots are for children. The second is Mr. Met is probably one of the most notable mascots in all of professional sports. This is going to be headline news tomorrow morning. If Bernie Brewer did this, local media and many parent-age adults freaking the fuck out.
