Nike’s Giannis Promotion Gets You Fired Up For Game 3

We said in the Spring that Giannis Antetokounmpo would be raking in the endorsement deals this summer. It was an obvious move with the guy liking to be in front the camera, a city that adores him and maybe the next best player in basketball. That last line is one I haven’t uttered yet. I’ve kept to myself almost of fear what might happen here. Nike is running an ad around Giannis coming from nothing and making himself into a superstar in the NBA.
Excited to debut Nike's Come Out of Nowhere series and tell my story! #nikebasketball pic.twitter.com/QnX0qnG4OI

It looks like a must-watch for Bucks fans even if we all know the story of Giannis, and what it entails from the start to the now finish line. I wonder if the 14 GMs who passed on him wonder ‘What if?’ It doesn’t help the other 14 teams that this was a terrible draft from the start to the finish. I remember leaving work at the radio station at Summerfest the night of the 2013 NBA Draft, and meeting my friends who told me ‘Bucks drafted a kid from Greece, Giannis Ante.” It led to a butchering of his name, but we were excited because John Hammond took a chance on some kid with a crazy amount of potential.
Can’t wait for Game 3. It should be excellent.
Charlie.
