Orlando Arcia Ends The Game With Amazing Gem

If you didn’t know, Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia is an absolute stud as a shortstop. He needs to start getting national attention for his defense because he makes one or two ridiculous plays after after. Tonight, it may have been Arcia’s best by ending a one run game by making an amazing play to get John Jaso out to end the game and give Brewers a comeback victory. He’s developing into a Brewers legend in the field.

It’s funny because Arcia made an equally insane play in the second inning when he completed the end of a double play with Eric Sogard to get Junior Guerra out of some serious trouble. It’s literally every night he’s making a big play for Brewers that saves a run or two. With how bad Brewers were at defense in certain years, it’s an amazing feeling to have a shortstop who can play at a Gold Glove level. He’s the captain of the defense at the young age of 22.
The other great thing about the shortstop is he plays with such a great spirit. He loves to have fun out there, and the entire team feeds off it.
