On Bucks Buzz, we have ‘Highlight of the Night’ as a segment. Usually when the Bucks lose, it’s tough to pick out what might be that highlight. They lost so it’s tough to reflect on positive thoughts. That said, today’s version will get its own blog post because it’s that nasty. Pat Connaughton aka Planet Pat threw down one of the best non-Giannis dunks of the Bucks season with a completely sick putback down in the fourth quarter. Watching this live, it was a definite ‘OH SHIT’ sort of play.

This was a sick dunk. We need Planet Pat in the dunk contest. To me, he could be a winner. Connaughton has a 42′ inch vertical. We should let him put it to work in February in this very arena. My assumption is the NBA will try to get the Bucks involved in all things All Star Saturday if they’re still as successful as they are right now. Not sure if Connaughton has the moves to make himself a fact in a dunk contest, but it’s worth putting him in there to see what happens versus the best dunkers in the league.
