Pure Domination: Packers Roll Over Seahawks, 38-10

All week long, my feelings towards Packers-Seahawks were very positive towards the home team. Not sure if it’s the emerging MVP Aaron Rodgers playing at GOAT-like levels again, a defense whose finally found rhythm or the fact Seattle is full of pretenders when they are away from home. Anyways, I never expected Packers would win 38-10 over the NFC-West leading Seahawks as Green Bay continues to dominate the month of December.
Rodgers had his best game of his season. He found Davante Adams on his second throw of the game for 66 yards for a touchdown. From thee, Green Bay continues to roll through this Seahawks defense. Their offense looked strong blending in the run when it’s necessary and Rodgers went to work with a clean pocket for the most part. He did ding up his calf in this game, but Rodgers said to FOX’s Erin Andrews ‘I will not miss a game.’ I’ll trust the quarterback here. Rodgers is playing on another level. I’m not sure why it took until 4-6, but it’s happening right now.
This defense deserves a great amount of credit for their performance as well. They turned Russell Wilson over six times including a career-high five interceptions from Wilson. Packers were the opportunistic defense that we’ve seen in the last couple years. They were agressive and baited Wilson into a couple bad passes. This defense allowed a total of 36 points in the last three games. That’s night and day from the hellacious three-game road trip. Damarious Randall makes a bit of difference, but he can’t be the only reason things have suddenly changed, right?
Green Bay needs a ton of help, but there are three weeks of football left where a ton can happen for Green Bay to slide into this playoff race. There’s still a lot that can happen where Packers could be an NFC North division winner or a Wild Card participant.
