Reds Groundskeeper Wiping Out Made The Loss Better

In all MLB stadiums across the country, they’re working with a skeleton crew. A crew that is not too big to limit the amount of potential COVID-19. There are certain jobs in a baseball stadium that are needed no matter what. The groundskeeper is one of those jobs. They’re required to make sure everything is working right on the diamond, and if there is rain, you have to cover the field up and protect it. They’re valuable as anyone in the stadium. That said, we can still laugh at them a little bit.
In last night’s Brewers-Reds game, there was a Reds’ groundskeeper who tried to be slick and ended up falling directly on his face. It appears that he is okay but man, what a complete wipeout here.

That is an awful feeling. Trust me as a guy who has fallen in public before. You never want to actually do it obviously, and the feeling of embarrassment after is never fun. Who knows if this groundskeeper tried this move before and it was successful. Or this is a first-time thing to try and make work more fun on a Monday. Regardless, this is a bruised ego if I’ve ever seen one.
