Rodgers Rates as Top Rated Playoff QB of Last Decade

Aaron Rodgers is a good playoff quarterback. Despite what some in the media might tell you, Rodgers does well in the postseason. Pro Football Focus, a site that people love and hate depending on the content, rated Rodgers the best playoff quarterback in the last decade. Since there is an evergoing Rodgers-Brady debate, many raged that Brady finished fifth while Rodgers was first. Brady won multiple rings over the past decade but does not have the performances to compare with Packers quarterback.

With Rodgers’ success in the last decade, should we be upset that the Packers haven’t made it to more than one Super Bowl? Yes, probably. But this goes back to something I say all the time to Packers fans… It’s really fucking hard to get to the Super Bowl. You are the last team standing in your conference. Packers should have been there in 2014 while other championship games have been one-sided affairs the other way. Green Bay did not have the coaching that New England does and that matters when it comes to postseason success.
As there is a generation shift in quarterbacks, let’s hope that Rodgers still has some playoff magic in him.
Charlie.
