Safe to Say Brewers Are Excited to Be Back

On Tuesday evening, baseball made it official. They’re back for a 60-game season. It will begin either July 23rd or July 24th. It is unclear what the schedule looks like, but the season will be a 60-game sprint. There are many things to like, dislike, and be confused about for next year. But regardless, it is baseball. I will be watching it. Just like the NBA, NHL, and any other sport served to me in the coming months. Milwaukee Brewers’ players all ran to Instagram to show their excitement for the game they love to be back in action. MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy did my work for me and put all of the Grams’ in a nice carousel.

I cannot tell you how many times in the last few months I’ve missed Brewers baseball. It didn’t bother me too much in April, but in May and June, it’s been a killer. Tapping The Keg podcasts have started back up again, and I always loved listening to Uecker on my drive home to see what’s going on in the game. Or to have Brian Anderson take me through a hungover Sunday afternoon with sunshine outside and Brewers baseball on television. It is too bad they’re only playing 60 games, but it is better than nothing.
Charlie.
