UWM’s Home Run Celly is an A+

Having a celebratory item waiting for the person who made a big play is a new thing across college sports. We saw with the Turnover Chain at Miami, and countless other try-hard attempts. I’m scared for college football this Fall when we’re going to see so many different versions of the Turnover Chain, and things of that ilk. UWM baseball added a Monty Python helmet for anyone who crosses home plate after a home run. This is pretty cool. I like when we’re doing something different as there are going to be so many different versions next season then Nick Saban being all pissed off about it.

Even though, this thing is awesome, I have some questions about it. I have to think the pats on the helmet have to be soft, right? Because if you’re whacking that thing, the home run hitter might find himself in concussion protocol. Another one is does every player use that for a home run? Is it a certain player? Because I have a big fucking head, and there’s not a chance in hell that I could fit that over my huge noggin. I would probably damage some part of my face doing it.
Well done, Milwaukee.
Charlie.
