What Offensive Weapons Needed? Green Bay Has Some of Best in NFC North

Many people are looking to fade the Green Bay Packers this season. I get it. They went from six wins to 13 wins in a year. The odds are that regression is strong with this team. But the idea that they’re not the top team in the NFC North is silly. I’m not wasting my time with Pro Football Talk putting Vikings ahead of the Packers in the most Florio move ever. Some have been critical of the Packers’ offseason calling it a Ted-like campaign and want more weapons in their arsenal. But the Packers are pretty damn good as it is. Right now, Green Bay has three of the five best offensive players on their roster for the NFC North. This is all courtesy of Pro Football Focus.

Here’s the thing about the weapons convo. People forget what a weird year last season was for Green Bay. Despite all their winning, they had a new coach, new system, and new personalities in the locker room. The first two parts pertain to the offensive struggles. Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, and Aaron Rodgers are three of the best to do right now. With another year under Matt LaFleur’s tutelage, this could lean to a productive year for all three players. There are a few more who can emerge as well. Green Bay is not on the cusp of something great, but to dismiss what they did last season is foolish. If need any more evidence for Adams being the best player in the NFC North, here you go.
