Aaron Rodgers is a guy who knows how to work the media. He plays to their strengths and plays to their weaknesses. Rodgers is also someone who has been reading a ton over the past few years. Remember him and Pat McAfee have a ‘book club’ together which is basically Rodgers listing out different things for Pat to read to get on his zen level. Rodgers could have called anyone of those out that he brought up with Pat and are not controversial. But knowing that ‘Atlas Shrugged’ is a controversial book on the internet, Rodgers goes for the immediate troll. Not shockingly, everyone took the bait.

This is just a sampling of people that are apparently upset at Rodgers or think that this basically is related to Rodgers’s takes on vaccines, his love for Joe Rogan, and more. Look, I personally do not care what my quarterback reads. He could read Clifford The Big Red fucking Dog. I realized that a lot of these people are those who hang out on Twitter all day and sniff and inhale their own farts with every retweet they get. But for those who are Packers fans, we’re trying to win a Super Bowl here, not a book contest.

Rodgers will chat with McAfee today. We’ll see if the boys discuss this as part of the book club or just not touch it.
