Aaron Rodgers’ Clutch Gene Exists on Golf Course

Aaron Rodgers and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul are putting on a charity event with State Fair over the next two days where the NFL is pitted up against the NBA. Given how many commercials we’ve seen from Rodgers and CP3 for State Farm, it’s not a surprise that those two are the ones leading the matchup between the two leagues. We also don’t see this enough. It’s like a version of ‘Battle of the network stars’ type thing. I feel like I would watch something like this on TV if we have the NFL, NBA and NHL all going at it. Hard to fit the MLB in there. Rodgers received a challenge from Paul to make a jumper on the golf course, and he absolutely drilled it. What a shot by the goat.

Rodgers is a multi-sport athlete. It’s not shocking to see him with good basketball form, and him nailing down the shot. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald loved it. I’m not sure if Fitz trusted that Rodgers could step up and make the bucket.
