Badgers’ Natrell Jamerson To Miss A Month or More

Injuries happen to every team. It’s part of sports. But if one team could use a break in the coming weeks, it might be the Wisconsin Badgers. The Big 10 Gauntlet as we’re calling it begins next week against Michigan State, and Wisconsin will be without another key contributor on defense. Natrell Jamerson will miss four to six weeks with a leg injury. Jamerson is not a starter, but he’s very involved in what Wisconsin does on special teams plus an emerging defensive back. Wisconsin will have to first find a way to replace on special teams which will be difficult considering he’s on four of the five teams.
Paul Chryst suggested Corey Clement for kick returns, and I’m not sure if Chryst’s coffee wasn’t strong enough or he had cocktail before his presser. That seems like a terrible idea. Clement has an injury history, and there’s no need to put your star in additional harm. I know he said Pittsburgh’s star receiver Tyler Boyd did in Pittsburgh, but that doesn’t mean you have to do it at Wisconsin.
