Food Network Should Do a Deal With Giannis

There are times where the Internet sees obvious connections before brands do. The latest version of this is Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Food Network. To me, this is a great fit. Giannis is still discovering American food like he did with corn dogs earlier this week and promised that Kool-Aid will be the next thing he tries out for himself. Food Network could easily do a show with him about trying ‘Americanized’ versions of food and seeing what he thinks about them. Even if it’s a digital show, this thing would be a monster.
Next step Kool Aid! I’ll tell y’all what I think when I try it lol 😂

Food Network should bring more sports stars in. Their audiences are sports fans and vice versa. Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay or Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives are perfect shows to flip on during commercials of a sporting event. And sometimes, the sporting event gets out of hand then you’re sucked in on the Food Network for at least two hours. They incorporate sports at times with special versions of Chopped, and Guy Fieri will have some sporting bro try out these sick nachos in California. How great would it be if they had an athlete-based show? How athletes eat is a fascinating topic.
Get it done, Food Network.
Charlie.
