How Many NBA Twitter & National Media Types Know Giannis Isn’t a Free Agent?

The Giannis Antetokounmpo takes will be out of control this week and next. Thank god that football is coming back tomorrow and the noise around Antetokounmpo will drown out some. You also will have potentially the Los Angeles vs. Los Angeles showdown brewing plus Toronto or Boston versus Miami. There are some great storylines left in the NBA. Celtics vs. Lakers. LeBron versus his old coach and Pat Riley. Toronto vs. Los Angeles Clippers. All of that is on the table which will hopefully keep people contained about Giannis. But the takes are still going to come. I’m not sure how many people realize Giannis isn’t a free agent next year. It’s after the 2021 season.
But do not tell that to different NBA entities. Here are three examples of Twitter accounts that used their platform to promote that Giannis might want to leave this offense. One is the media partner for the fucking league promoting dissension

These are just a few of the many that were out there last night. NBA Twitter thinks every small-market guy cannot actually stay in the small market and needs to play for a team that ‘matters.’ The media has caused so much confusion on this topic that people do not know if Giannis is in fact a free agent or not. He isn’t. There is one more year left. Milwaukee could trade him, but if they trade him, people will likely never come back to the Fiserv Forum ever again.
For those who are promoting this garbage, keep getting your retweets, likes, quote tweets, but know that they do not mean shit.
Charlie.
