Non-Biased Analyst Paul Pierce Thinks Bucks-Celtics is Over
Paul Pierce is a mainstay on ESPN/ABC’s NBA Countdown. Pierce does not always have the takes that make you think he knows what he’s doing as an analyst. He had the bizarre take where he said that he was better than a retiring Dwayne Wade. And again, he is out in front on a truly stupid take. This time around it’s the Bucks-Celtics. In this case, Pierce said that ‘the series is over’ when it comes to the playoff matchup as he overreacted to Game 1 in the worst way possible.
"I think it's over."

I am shocked that one of the premier Boston athletes of the last 20 years would say this about the Celtics and Bucks. He comes off like such a fucking homer. I get that might not be his intention, but that’s the feeling when you hear Pierce talk about this series. Good for Chauncey Billups who called him out on his bullshit when he said it. Pierce tried to defend his stance, but it came off poorly.
I know we live in a world of absolutes, but sometimes, we need to slow down with our takes. Pierce wants the Celtics to win which is fine, but slow your roll, Paul.
Charlie.
