Packers Push For The Super Bowl Begins Saturday Night

Green Bay Packers are starting their Super Bowl quest on Saturday night in Lambeau Field against the San Francisco 49ers. The game will be at 7:15 pm and on the FOX network with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. It should be an awesome game. The Packers-Niners have a storied history of playoff matchups. Green Bay has lost the last three, and it is time for Green Bay to avenge those for all the former players, (most) coaches, fans, and everyone else. This is a matchup that some fans fear, but I do not.

This is a fun spot for the Packers to be in. Last year, we did the late afternoon game which I believe was carried by the FOX network as well. This year, it is primetime without the COVID restrictions that were in the city (Unless the mask mandate comes back on Tuesday). Regardless, it should be an absolute party in the City of Milwaukee and the crowd at Lambeau Field. They are going to be fired up and want revenge for 2019. Everyone can sense this team is special and knows that they’re on the cusp of something really special.
Just because you’re on the ‘cusp’. That doesn’t mean that you will get it. It’s the worst thing about sports when you have a good team. You know how good they are or can be yet they might not ever get there. This is the year. But anything can happen in football. It was a rather chalky weekend in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean shit. Next week, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Los Angeles/Arizona could win. Football always keeps you on your toes. Cannot wait to get good and drunk for this one.
