Rockets-Celtics’ Ending Was Absolutely Outrageous

NBA proved to have some of the best drama in 2017. It’s shaping up as a banner year for the league. In what could be a potential NBA Finals preview, Houston Rockets made a statement in the first half leading by 26 points. Boston Celtics made one of their own coming all of the way back. In one of the more bizarre finishes, Rockets superstar James Harden got called for not one, but two offensive fouls in the final 15 seconds of the game. I’ve never seen anything like it and can’t believe the refs took over a critical game late.

In a move that surprised no one, Harden expressed his displeasure with the officiating to finish the game. Rockets probably got screwed in this one, but I feel zero sympathy for The Beard here. Harden is a notorious flopper, and he received a taste of his own medicine. The other part of it is the Rockets star should have known the second time to free himself open in another way. Why didn’t Mike D’Antoni get a screener to help free Harden open in that situation?
Houston-Boston would be an awesome NBA Finals. I know everyone thinks it’s going to be Warriors-Cavaliers for another year, but it would be truly fantastic to see some new blood in June.
