Rodgers Hears The Packers Doubters Heading into 2020

Aaron Rodgers knows the haters are out there. Many people think that the Green Bay Packers are going to regress to either not win the NFC North or not be a Wild Card team. Why? Well, the analytical minds will tell you that the Green Bay Packers got lucky time and again last season. Did they? Yeah, some of it is luck. They didn’t play Patrick Mahomes at Arrowhead Stadium. They faced multiple backup quarterbacks. These are all fair contentions. But people are forgetting the fact that the Packers are still fucking good. This roster put together by Brain Gutekunst is not one that is supposed to be 8-8. The Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers knows the hate is out there and responded a bit to it yesterday.
Aaron Rodgers: "I like where we're at, kind of flying under the radar, even though we were 13-3 last year."

This is a very Rodgers quote. But it is true. No one is talking about the Packers being a Super Bowl contender. I like Warren Sharp, I subscribed to a podcast because I want to listen to Sharp more, but are we really that far in the analytical hole? There are people picking the Packers to win the NFC North, but no one is picking them to win the Super Bowl or to get there. Others are expecting a regression season out of Rodgers too. Packers are hungry to make a statement early on in this season.
It will be super funny if the Packers jump out to a 4-0 start heading into their bye. ‘Are the Packers for real?’ ‘Is this another 2019?’ But that’s football. Takes are usually wrong by Week 4. Rodgers is going to have a massive year and don’t let anyone tell you differently. He is a man on a mission.
