If you didn’t hear, the other NFL Los Angeles team hired their new head coach. Sean McVay takes the reigns from Jeff Fisher, and he’s the ripe age of 30. Yes, you heard that right. He’s 30 years old holding one of the best jobs in sports. Apparently, he’s a boy wonder and everyone speaks very highly of him. Wade Phillips will be running the defense, and that’s the type of guy you want with a young coach. But enough about Rams, and more about how I feel like a goddamn squid.

Like what the fuck man? I’m 28 years old with a decent job, a better girlfriend living in Milwaukee and I’m fine with my life. This guy raises the bar on all of us like a psycho. I know we’re throwing that word around a lot, but it’s true. McVay makes me feel like the scum of the earth because he worked his way to the top of the success ladder before he could legally become a senator. Like isn’t there a common level of expectations we all adhere to in life? C’mon man.

For all us out there that feel like I do about McVay, I’m not sure what to say. The good news is we have two years to make some moves and make something happen.
