Ladies and gentlemen welcome to bubble drama. As you all know Giannis headbutted Moe Wagner on Tuesday night. This led to pearl-clutching from different media members with Bucks Twitter doing the ‘well worth it’ commentary like we’re all Kenny Wu. Giannis did get suspended for today’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. Suns fans are not happy about this development. You see the Suns need Milwaukee to win in order for Phoenix to leapfrog Memphis into the ninth spot to play Portland in the play-in game. Hate to break it to Suns’ fans, but the Bucks were probably laying down regardless of Giannis’s suspension.

As of right now, Wesley Matthews has already been ruled out and Giannis is not playing with his suspension. No word on if the Bucks will start any of their other studs. Most teams are resting their guys today. My assumption would be that Eric Bledsoe will play, but Middleton and Lopez will sit. Again, that is bad news bears for Suns fans hoping to barge into the playoff party. Could the G-League Bucks take down Memphis? It is possible. They’re not a great team, but they’re probably close to Memphis’s level.

From my overall entertainment on Saturday and Sunday with basketball, my hope is for Phoenix, Portland, and Milwaukee to win so we get Suns-Blazers to decide the playoffs. Do I think we’re getting that? No, I don’t think that’s happening. Memphis and Portland will likely be our matchup which isn’t that exciting, and I feel if Portland somehow loses, NBA Twitter will lose their mind.
