This Camp Randall Drone Video Makes Me More Sad For Fall

As we all know, there will be no Big Ten football this Fall. My podcast partner Mitch Ross pointed out that anything can happen, and we shouldn’t be certain that this will be the case. I feel we’re a few days away from seeing if Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, and others, try to break off from the Big Ten for a year and play this Fall. Wisconsin hasn’t been mentioned in any of these discussions. Whether it was from Barry Alvarez or the university, Wisconsin took their medicine and accepted their fate. Regardless of all of that, we can still appreciate the beauty of Camp Randall Stadium.

Sam Li flew this drone over Camp Randall Stadium the other day right around sunset. It is absolutely perfect. It looks like a sanctuary of football. Does the video make you sadder football isn’t happening this fall there? Yes, no question about it. When Camp Randall is at its coolest, it is probably at night with all the lights on. Maybe it is the unique nature of night games hence the reason there is a cool element to the old stadium.
Related to this video, I didn’t know that I was a drone over stadium video guy until right now I could do drone videos over every stadium in America.
