Paul Allen is one of my favorite trolls of the National Football League. He is easily the biggest homer in the NFL. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe there are others. But Allen seems to be a special kind of broadcaster where he is more a fan than a play-by-play guy. It would be like if I worked for the Packers Radio Network and was calling the game. There is no way the FCC would allow this type of thing. After the Green Bay Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings, Allen got all excited that the Packers lost and that a coach said something to him which drove him to run his mouth. After that, the Vikings are 0-2 and are playing themselves out of the playoff race.

Seriously, this is a great moment in dunking on the Vikings. The more days that Minnesota employs Mike Zimmer, the better it is for the Green Bay Packers. I’ve felt there has been something off about Minnesota all season, and it continues to show itself on the field. Minnesota is a top ten team in DVOA. This is another version of a close loss for the Vikings which continues to happen. We’ll see if they’re able to turn this around. I don’t think they will be able to do it.

They have a massive Thursday night game with Pittsburgh at home this week. Kirk Cousins on primetime versus Pittsburgh coming off an emotional win.
