CFB Bowl Pick: Wet The Boca Beak

A nice bowl win for us on Monday as Tulsa destroyed Central Michigan, 55-10. That was a nice easy win even if not many people in Miami cared about the game. That means our record for the bowl season is 4-2 straight up and 3-3 against the spread. We stay in Florida for tonight’s game with Pardon My Take presents: The Boca Raton Wet The Beak Ponzi Scheme Awareness Bowl. I, for one, cannot wait. Big Red is involved which always makes me tingle a little bit.
Boca Raton Bowl: Memphis vs. Western Kentucky (-7) 6:00 pm ESPN – This line interests me a little bit. Western Kentucky lost its coach, Jeff Brohm, to Purdue, yet Vegas still likes them as a seven-point favorite. Maybe, it’s due to the fact they haven’t lost since October 6th, and their only other two losses are by one to Vandy and a blowout defeat to Alabama. They’re very good with a potent offense. Mike White is a 4,000+ passer with two great receivers in Taywan Taylor and Nicholas Norris. Add to that, Anthony Wales can hurt you on the ground. Don’t sleep on Memphis with the Riley Ferguson and Anthony Miller combination. Both are talented enough to keep the Hiltoppers at bay.
Don’t know why, but Western Kentucky gives me a Tulsa vibe. Memphis lost to Tulsa by 29 points. Tigers are going to have some issues containing this offense even without Brohm being there. I like Big Red to win and cover. WKU 52-41
