After 10 days, we are finally seeing some of our favorites for the 2016 college football season. It’s not that the teams we’re watching the last 10 days were bad, but these are better teams. All four bowl games feature Power 5 teams, and their high-quality good programs. We had quite the day on Tuesday with two ATS wins during the day then a disastrous night session. For the bowl season, we are 9-9 SU and 10-8 ATS. We’ll strive for a better today.

Russell Athletic Bowl: 16. West Virginia vs. Miami (-2.5) 4:30 ESPN – This game could be a ton of fun. There’s even been a little smack talk between the teams this week. Brad Kaaya might be in his last game in Hurricane uniform. Kaaya will have to deal with the blitzing nature of West Virginia’s defense. He can handle it though. Hurricanes should be able to turnover Skyler Howard and Mountaineers offense, and that’s going to be the difference. This game will be so fun though, I promise. MIAMI 23-21

Adovcare Texas Bowl: Texas A&M (-2.5) vs. Kansas State 8:00 pm ESPN – The old Big 12 rivalry starts up again with these two teams heading in different directions. Aggies did their usual November soon while K-State got stronger as the year went on. Myles Garrett will be a terror as always, but Texas A&M needs to stop the run to win this game. The three-headed running attack of K-State might be too much. Every thing says go Aggies with all their playmakers, but I’m riding my boy Billy Synder. KSU 38-34

Pinstripe Bowl: 23. Pittsburgh (-4.5) vs. Northwestern 1:00 pm ESPN – This should be a back and forth type of affair. James Connor could have his final swan song in college football at Yankee Stadium. He should be able to have a big day on the ground. Pitt is an underrated good team. Pat Narduzzi’s defense hasn’t been good all year, but they come together for a big game to slow down Northwestern just enough. Pitt wins in a fun one. PITT 41-31

Foster Farms Bowl: Indiana at 19. Utah (-5.5) 7:30 pm FOX – Tough game to pick because a part of you says go with Utah with all of the outside factors for Hoosiers. They lost a coach and their coordinator took over the head position. A few things could slip through the cracks. Another part says Indiana rises up for to the occasion and keeps it very close. Utah struggled down the stretch, but they lost to good teams. The time off helps Utes figure a few things out. UTAH 31-23
