3. Michigan at 2. Ohio State (-5.5) 11:00 am ABC – The biggest of games for the weekend and maybe the year. I’m starting to believe Michigan keeps this game close. Ohio State still can’t pass the football. Michigan is at their best when stopping the run. If John O’Korn makes just enough plays against an average Ohio State defense, they might have a chance. Buckeyes end up forcing a couple big turnovers in the second half and pull away from Wolverines as it gets to the fourh quarter. OSU 31-21

22. Utah at 9. Colorado (-9.5) 6:30 pm FOX – I have a secret for everyone… Utah is an average team. Joe Williams is great, but after that, this team kind of stinks. Boulder is a tough place to play when Colorado is good, and a Saturday night game will be no different. Buffaloes continue their dream season with an ass-kicking of Utah. COLO 33-17

15. Florida at 14. Florida State (-7.5) 7:00 pm ABC – If you haven’t noticed, Florida State is playing good football of late. Dalvin Cook continues to be awesome, and he will have a test versus this Gators front seven. Florida is playing for pride here as their job for the SEC East title is already taken care of. I’m not sure if Gators have enough offense to keep up with Noles if they hit a couple big plays. I like Florida State here by two scores. FSU 24-10

Definitely worth watching a quarter or two
13. Auburn at 1. Alabama (-17) 2:30 pm CBS – I wondered why this spread was so high then realized Auburn is coming in wounded. Sean White will try to play, but Tigers offense is far too one-dimensional to pull the stunner. Alabama has been so good all year, and the aggressive Auburn defense hurts them Saturday with Jalen Hurts running all over the field.

Notre Dame at 12. USC (-18) 2:30 pm ABC – Oh boy. I guess the only reason I have this so high is this is always a good uniform game to watch and a traditional one at that. Sam Darnold and company are going to destroy the Irish. It will not be close whatsoever. USC 41-15

Bets of the week
South Carolina at 4. Clemson (-25) 6:30 pm ESPN – This just feels way too high for a rivalry game. These two teams hate each other. Will Muschamp has his defense working at South Carolina, but just like at Florida, the offense doesn’t always come with. I could see the Cocks getting a couple turnovers to shorten the field, but they don’t have enough firepower to keep up with Clemson. CLEM 35-17

17. Tennessee (-6.5) at Vanderbilt 6:30 pm SEC Network – SEC East is hot garbage this year. Tennessee has nothing to play for and playing a hot Vandy team who will definitely make a bowl with a win, but even if they lose, 5-7 with their good grades will get them in. Vandy’s defense is a monster right now, and Josh Dobbs can be a turnover machine. Not only is this a great bet to take Vandy +6.5, I like them outright. Ralph Webb has a big day on the ground to pull the upset. VANDY 20-14

Upset of the Week
25. Navy (-7) at SMU 2:30 pm ESPNU – Maybe this is dumb of me and I know Chad Morris might be Baylor’s new head coach so that could led to a letdown, yet, SMU needs one more win for bowl eligibility for the first time since 2012. Ben Hicks leads the charge for Ponies as they get their bowl-clinching win as they’re able to handle Navy’s rushing attack. SMU 41-35

SnoTap Bar Watch of the Week
Wyoming (-2.5) at New Mexico 9:15 pm ESPN2 – Oh baby. This is a better than usual bar watch. Strong Mountain West Conference matchup, and Cowboys are already playing for Mountain West Championship game versus San Diego State. New Mexico is no slouch. They’ve struggled against better competition this season. Wyoming can put up points led by Josh Allen and Brian Hill. The star will be Hill. New Mexico gives up a bunch of ground. Wyoming wins late. WYO 45-41

Worth a channel flip but don’t plan your day around it.
Michigan State at 7. Penn State (-11) 2:30 pm ESPN – Miserable Michigan State season comes to an end this Saturday at Happy Valley. Penn State will know if they are playing for a Big Ten East title. Will the wind be taken out of their soul if Michigan wins? Perhaps. Michigan State’s last gasp might have been versus Ohio State last week. I like Nittany Lions to have a dominating performance led by Saquon Barkley with a big day on the ground. PSU 42-17

18. West Virginia (-6.5) at Iowa State 2:30 pm FS1 – Curious that the spread is low for this one. Iowa State did a number on Texas Tech, and they’ve won two straight games for the first time all season. This could be a tricky for Mountaineers especially since Cyclones held Red Raiders to 10 points. Mountaineers defense ends up being the difference in a close one. WVU 24-21

Kentucky at 11. Louisville (-26.5) 11:00 am ESPN – Don’t see much in this game. Kentucky can’t stop a damn soul. Lamar Jackson should have a huge day, and even with the Houston loss, I still think Jackson is the Heisman. LOU 52-17
