ESPN’s Most Prominent NBA Voice Detesting Milwaukee is Bad For The League

Stephen A. Smith has become one of the major voices of the NBA. You could say he’s ‘The voice’, honestly. Stephen A. is the co-host of one of the biggest shows in the world ‘First Take’ and does 100 different things for ESPN for the NBA. On yesterday’s episode of First Take, Smith talked about how much he did not want to go to Milwaukee. The analyst sounded like a petulant child who had to eat his vegetables before he could have dessert. Smith announced that he would be rooting for the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks. The host of show talked about how easy it is to get flights from LA to Atlanta like getting flights for Smith is really that fucking hard. It was an embarrassment and something ESPN should clean up sooner rather than later.

All Stephen A. had to do was make some joke about his preferred finals being Atlanta-Los Angeles then say ‘I’m sure there are good things about Milwaukee too.’ This isn’t funny. Like Milwaukee isn’t some dilapidated city. They were going to host the fucking Democratic National Convention here last summer if not for COVID-19. The Bucks have the Deer District and a new stadium where Smith can live the high life. He isn’t watching a game at the Bradley Center. This is all nonsense considering when he spent multiple years going to Cleveland, but I guess that’s alright?
Look, you can call me salty but I just want to be loved, man. I want people to see this city and this team like I do. I’m not sure why there is no hype there. It bums me out. National media members seem genuinely disappointed they have to watch Bucks-Hawks instead of the Brooklyn Nets. I can’t remember anything like it.
Go Bucks.
Charlie.
