Giannis Antetokounmpo is having one of the best NBA Finals in history. I’ve said this before, no matter what happens to the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals, Antetokounmpo has the respect of a lot more fans. Sure, there are other NBA players that don’t show him a ton of love, but that’s because he doesn’t play the buddy-buddy game. But he is making more fans every day. The comments that Antetokounmpo made yesterday are only going to help build his stature. Comments about not looking in the past, and looking in the present, and thinking ahead fit us all. It’s a must-watch and can be applied to anything you do.

It’s incredible. It is one of the best quotes I’ve seen from an athlete. We are so lucky to have Antetokounmpo as an athlete. Doesn’t matter if he’s a player for Milwaukee or anywhere else. But the fact that he is in the city that we live in makes it so much more fucking special. We should never take Giannis for granted. I think there are moments where it’s easy to do. Maybe a tough night from the free-throw line or he shot too many things. None of it matters. At the end of the day, our team has Giannis and the other 29 teams do not. We should remember that every day.
