Green Bay Packers announced yesterday they reached an injury settlement with former Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver Jared Abbrederis. Green Bay had put the young wideout on Injury Reserve with a tight contusion. This is an injury that Abby thought would take about one month to heal, and he could be back playing football again. But due to Packers injury woes, they need more healthy bodies on the roster.

I don’t blame Abbrederis for trying to leave the team as well as Green Bay for putting him on IR with a talented Geronimo Allison on their practice squad. My guess is Abbrederis has enough skills to land somewhere, and the Badger faithful who are also Packers fans will let Ted know if a bad decision was made even if this receiver had one catch through eight weeks.
