Hurricane Matthew caused LSU Tigers and Florida Gators to postpone their 11 am start on Saturday morning. It’s the right thing to do. Florida knew this was possible, yet they didn’t come up with a contingency plan for a new place to play Saturday’s game. Now, each team is scrambling to find a time to play each other. FOX Sports Clay Travis wrote about it here as there’s no easy or right answer for this one. LSU will probably end up having to suck it up and play three straight SEC road games as they both play non-conference teams on November 19th. I know that’s not great, but it seems like the best weekend to get this game in. Apparently, LSU doesn’t want to play this game at all and refused several times. Tigers Athletic Director makes it seem like this game won’t happen which makes the SEC East really interesting.
