Marquez Valdes-Scantling Explains Why He Didn’t Lambeau Leap

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the breakout star of the first preseason game of the year. He had a great game with 101 yards with five catches and a touchdown. We wrote about him in our new excitement meter, our podcast covered him, SnoTapWI’s Instagram post and now, we have another post. I swear I do not have a boner with this dude, but it’s hard not to be excited about his performance in Game 1 of the season. He received some shit from his teammates including Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams for why he didn’t do a Lambeau Leap. MVS gave a great explanation as to why he didn’t do it on both Instagram and Twitter.
Not in the same preseason, first one I want to make sure it counts 😅 https://t.co/C668UQkLMP

I love this. I realize this is sort of a pinhead thing to love, but I do not give a fuck. Like he knows he wants to catch a touchdown in the regular season and knows he’s going to grab one. Loved seeing how excited Rodgers was with Kumerow’s touchdown as well as Valdes-Scantling’s grab. You have to think he’s going to be stoked to play with all of these options.
