Green Bay Packers’ outside linebacker coach Mike Smith is an interesting dude. He is always good for a couple of soundbites when stepping up to the podium. Smith had a new way to motivate his star EDGE rusher, Za’Darius Smith, by creating a burner Instagram account to motivate him. Smith does not like being kept off lists of best EDGE rushers, so, Mike Smith believes this is the perfect way to add some extra motivation. Some might say football guys don’t use the Internet, but any way to find additional motivation is football guy stuff.

So Packers All-Pro OLB Za'Darius Smith sometimes posts on Instagram about lists that leave him out of the top edge rushers.

His position coach Mike Smith says that might fuel him, so he's going to create a burner Instagram and trash talk Za'Darius to make him play even better.

Here’s a high thought from me and from a guy who does not partake in the devil’s lettuce. The Smith brothers have been a thing for a while, right? So their coach is also named Smith. Does that make him, their father? Makes you think. Chew on that one for a little while.
