The Bachelor Did Wisconsin All Wrong

If you didn’t know, The Bachelor, Nick Viall, is from Waukesha, Wisconsin. He isn’t that much of a hometown favorite like we’ve seen with other reality contestants, but The Bachelor did make a journey back to Wisconsin for a week. The look a national audience got at Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Waukesha couldn’t have been more wrong. There were so many things that didn’t scream a place I’ve lived my whole life. While I understand it’s for the cameras, here are a couple things they should have done…
Do a Brewery Tour
How the hell do you come to southeastern Wisconsin and not go on a Brewery tour. There are so many to choose from whether it’s the old standby like Miller Brewing, or Lakefront/MKE Brewing are all fine choices. Or what about learning how to brew beer? To me, that’s more fun than watching women do farm chores.
Milwaukee Brewers Game
How fun would a group date be that involved a tailgate? That seems like the best. A scavenger hunt around the parking lot looking for different things to create the perfect tailgate. Also, if you ever been to a tailgate, you know men and women drink too much at these events. It would have been a perfect time to see if Corrine made an aggressive public move on Nick.
Anything Other Than Rollerblading
What is this, the 1950’s? Are we going to get our sockhop dresses on next? Rollerblading stopped being cool a long time ago, it came back briefly when the movie ‘Brink’ was out and now we’re back to having no appeal to it. The fact Nick and Raven, who looks like a hick Anna Faris, went rollerblading again in the Milwaukee Art Museum must mean Nick is a rollerblades guy which is an issue.
All in all, The Bachelor did cover a few favorites, and they’ll be back again when Nick brings the four girls to meet his family. We shall see if they right any of the wrongs of this episode.
