Milwaukee Bucks came home to a one-game losing streak. Like last year around this time, Bucks had not lost back-to-back games yet. But unlike last year where they lost two straight in early March, Bucks bounced back in a big way against Indiana. They won 119-100 in a game that was close for about a quarter, but in reality, this game was over from the start. Bucks won wire-to-wire for the 15th time this season. No other team in the league has more than seven wins like that. Most of the reason for Bucks’ success on Wednesday night was Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton which surprises no one.

Player of the Game: Giannis Antetokounmpo – Giannis finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists last night. Myles Turner, who believes that he’s playing the best defense of his career, was no match for Antetokounmpo. The MVP made all seven free throws in this one. It is the first time all season that Giannis has been perfect from the stripe with five or more free throws. It is boring to talk about in the national media world, but Giannis has become a 75% free throw shooter with his new routine. Bucks are earning more points from Antetokounmpo than ever before.

Honorable Mention: Khris Middleton – The Robin to Giannis’ Batman had himself a night too. Khris Middleton finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Middleton got himself rolling in the third quarter. He went 9-for-16 from the field and made two threes. Midds continued to build his case for an All-NBA spot. It is reasonable to consider him for a third team position.

One Thing I Liked: Donte coming up big too – If it were not for Middleton, Donte DiVencenzo had himself a great night too. At some point, he will breakthrough with 20 points, but he tied his career-high yet again at 19 points. Donte also had seven rebounds and six assists tonight along with three 3-pointers. It is good to see DiVencenzo get his three-point game up. It has not entirely connected as it did in college, but trust me, Donte can make five or six threes in a game.

One Thing To Think About: Malcolm Brogdon gets hurt again – Former Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon played eleven minutes and he got hurt again. I don’t want to be a dick because I don’t want to talk about injuries. Yet this is the exact reason why Milwaukee didn’t want to pay him a bunch of money. He gets hurt too often. Hopefully, the hip is okay, but this is why Milwaukee decided to part ways.

Next up: Bucks and Lakers on Friday night. This is going to be an awesome game, folks. I’m very excited about this one and think it will be an all-time classic. This is going to be a defensive struggle with both offenses scuffling a bit combined with both teams playing their asses off on defense.
