Don’t Forget How Great Giannis To Beat Boston Last Night

Milwaukee Bucks looked like they were going to lose their Christmas Day game. Boston dominated Milwaukee all game long. Things did not look good. Those of us who had Milwaukee and the Green Bay Packers in parlays were ready to be disappointed. But then Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to remind people that he is the best player in basketball and completely took over giving us all a true Christmas memory. Antetokounmpo finished with 36 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists in an iconic performance.
The Celtics were up 13 with 5 minutes left in the 4Q. Then:

This is the type of stuff that makes you think ‘Is anyone going to beat Milwaukee in the playoffs?’ Because Boston was up 13 with five minutes, that game should have been over, but Giannis took over. He played so well in this game after being diagnosed with COVID eight days ago. The block that Antetkounmpo had too might have been one of his best ever. Jayson Tatum passed to Robert Williams because Tatum was going to get blocked yet Giannis blocked Williams too! Very similar to the play that he had against DeAndre Ayton in the NBA Finals.
People will lose track of this game because the NFL game started right when it happened. That’s okay though. Let people sleep on the Bucks at the moment. Milwaukee plays Brooklyn at home next Friday on ESPN. It will likely mean Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden versus the Bucks’ big three. It should be something else. Then Golden State is on deck at Fiserv six days later. The attention around the Bucks should grow in the month of January.
