Lorenzo Cain Continues His Highlight Reel Season
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain is absolutely ridiculous in the outfield. We knew this already, but it is always cool to see him make big plays out in center field like he did last night. Brewers and Mets got off to a late start last night due some bad northeast weather, and as you can imagine, the ground was pretty slick. Early in the game, Todd Frazier hit a moonshot to deep right center field that looked like the first run of the game for New York. Cain pulled it back in one of his best catches since rejoining the Brewers. He made a great stab to pull it back and keep the game at 0-0s.
Todd Frazier hit this 392 feet with nothing to show for it. Just an impressive effort by Lorenzo Cain.pic.twitter.com/Ge0iqBDqp1

You can believe in momentum, you can think it is absolute bullshit. You decide. But the Brewers are on the struggle bus of late. They lost their last four games prior to Friday night, and seven out of their last eight. If Fraizer hits a little farther, it is 1-0 Mets, and the Brewers trail facing Jacob deGrom. Instead, Cain keeps the game at 0-0s. That’s a big thing for a team needing a spark. Cain did exactly that for Milwaukee.
