Oh My God, Jason Kidd Could Coach The Lakers
Reports came out yesterday that Jason Kidd interviewed for the Los Angeles Lakers job. Yes, this is real and spectacular. He interviewed with Rob Pelinka and Kurt Rambis for the role. It is amazing that Kidd is getting another chance to coach especially after what the Bucks are doing this season. He did so many bad things as the head coach of the Bucks that him going to Los Angeles would be a complete tire fire. I have no idea how LeBron James would handle his tough love, and I believe their relationship would be doomed from the first practice.

Look, I do not openly root for Kidd’s demise because that would be petty. In the story of the Golden State Warriors, Mark Jackson had to happen before they got Steve Kerr. Same with the Bucks. But I do think this guy is a huckster douchebag, so, it is hard for me to root him on in his next adventure. He did many weird things with the Bucks organization throughout his time with the team. Sure, he played a role in developing Giannis Antetokounmpo into what he is but part of me thinks that would have happened naturally with Giannis.
If Kidd did get the Lakers job, Bucks-Lakers in Milwaukee is a must for national television. The crowd would be filled with hate, and the boos when Kidd gets announced would be comparable to a WWE villain entering the ring. You also know that Giannis, Khris Middleton (If on the team, PS – If the Lakers want Midds, Kidd is probably the wrong coach to hire)) and others want to give their old coach buckets. I am here for all of it.
