New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s Super Bowl-winning jersey ended up going missing after the game. Many people thought it ended up in the equipment bags, and they would find it when the team got back to New England. That never happened. The jersey remained missing until Monday morning when FBI and other federal agents found all of the equipment in Mexico. The person who stole the things had an international media credential and took Brady’s 2015 Super Bowl jersey along with maybe Von Miller’s gear as well. We need a movie of this whole ordeal.

What are the odds Ben Affleck made a phone call to someone today about writing a script about this story? I feel like they’re off the table. There are a lot of ways you could go with a movie about this whole thing. Who knows why the person in question did it, but once we know, Affleck can build a storyboard from there. He could go fictional and say they needed the jerseys as collateral for something. I”m telling you this movie is getting made at some point. It might not be next year, but it’s happening within the decade.
