Donald Trump Says He’s The Reason Kaepernick Isn’t Signed

So this happened today. In an event in Louisville, Kentucky, President of The United States Donald Trump said to a fired up crowd that he’s the reason free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed by any NFL team. Trump followed it up by saying the NFL owners are scared of a ‘nasty tweet.’ This is the world we live in. Trump thinking he controls the NFL free agency market which is precious. It’s probably a headline grab more than anything else, but it’s amazing how Kaepernick keeps himself in the news whether it’s by him or not.

This isn’t the blog post to talk about the white knight’ing that’s currently going on with Kaepernick. It’s NFL Free Agency. I’m not sure if he’s an answer for a team in the National Football League given his style of play isn’t exactly fitting with any football teams currently. Kap still can’t throw from the pocket. There are a shit ton of flaws with him when it comes to the quarterback compared to all of the things he does off the field. He’s backed up his word and done great things in the community plus what he’s doing in Africa currently. Kaepernick might be better suited to be impactful activist off-the-field, yet I understand that he still wants to be a quarterback.
Trump is doing himself no favors to have sports franchises feel comfortable with coming to the White House.
