This is a generalization, but the fact is Toronto can’t keep it together during postseason baseball. For the second straight year, Toronto found a way to show their ass in a playoff game. Last year, they threw debris on the field during a controversial call against Texas. This time, a fan hurled a water bottle at Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo-Kim as he tried to catch a ball for the final out of the inning. Additionally, Orioles outfielder Adam Jones accused the Jays fans of saying racial slurs to he, an African-American, and Kim, a South Korean. There’s no place in baseball for this type of behavior.

Toronto now has a reputation with their fans. People know it’s a wild environment there, but the preception is different as it seems like they’re junior league hockey fans acting out at a baseball game.
