Welcome to Worst Three Days in Social Media

This is going to be brutal. No matter who wins the presidency this will be the most annoying times on the web. Overreactions in every direction possible. Groupthink all over the place, and people running their mouth on Facebook without any idea of what they are talking about. It’s so annoying, and the hope is this will be a three-day thing until Veteran’s Day when my hope is the social audience transitions from political hot takes to talking the men and women who serve our country. Even if they don’t talk about veterans, three days is usually the lifespan of acting like social media idiots. Once the dust settles by next week, everything is over and we can look forward to the next four years with whomever is sitting in the Oval Office. Anyways, the holiday season will all consume us.
I would love to tell you to go out and vote, and you should if you want to complain in the next four years, yet there’s no one worth a damn voting for this election season.
Let’s not act like idiots. Let’s all not chase clicks and maybe, just maybe, let’s have some fun.
Charlie.
