Avisail Garcia’s Massive Home Run From Last Night Hasn’t Landed
Milwaukee Brewers and the St. Louis Cardinals were deadlocked in another tight game last night. Brewers lost a 1-0 advantage in the eighth inning thanks to a Tyler O’Neil home run. In the bottom half though, Milwaukee did what they needed to do get back the game. Travis Shaw came up with another clutch hit to give Milwaukee a 2-1 lead. Then Avisail Garcia absolutely crushed a baseball for two insurance runs and helped Milwaukee stave off St. Louis for a 4-1 victory. It was a good night at the ballpark. If you haven’t seen Avi’s piss missile, here you go.

What a way to get some insurance runs. KFC from Barstool Sports says that insurance runs are better than sex. I’m not sure I agree with him, but they’re pretty great. Milwaukee hasn’t hit many home runs of late. Partly due to playing in a huge stadium when facing off versus Miami, and the other part is the offense hasn’t been that good. Milwaukee will look for their second series win of the season against the Cardinals this afternoon. Corbin Burnes returns from COVID stint to take the ball for the Crew while St. Louis sends Jack Flathery. First to one run might win this one.
