Unbelievable. One of the greatest sports games I’ve ever watched in my life. I can’t imagine being a fan of either team for this whole game. This was brutal. Watching the ups and downs of my Cubs fan roommate was unlike something I’ve seen from a causal fan perspective. There’s no more curse. There’s no lovable losers. All of that shit has been officially retired and dead on November 2nd.

Some might wonder if the rain delay was a twist of fate for Chicago. That seemed to reset both teams to a neutral playing field. There’s much more to talk about from this game.

We’ll remember this one for a very long time. There aren’t many times when baseball has been this damn good. Anything can happen, folks.
