Game Review: Nothing Better Than An Easy Baseball Win
Baseball, or any sport for that matter, is so much better when you absolutely blow out a team early on. Yes, we will live for close games. My heart still hasn’t come back down to a normal beat after Game 5 Bucks-Suns a couple of Saturdays ago. But when your team demolishes the other in the first few minutes of the game. That is great. It allows you to put your feet up and just relax for the rest of the game. Now in some cases, you need to keep adding runs/points so they don’t come back. And in others like the Pirates’ case last night, they were just dead. Great win from the Brewers kicking off this short six-game road trip.

I noted on the podcast two days ago that this would be a great time to be playing Pittsburgh. They’re in full transition mode. Adam Frazier got traded over the weekend. He is a pest to the Brewers, and one less guy to worry about until October. Tyler Anderson, the supposed pitcher from yesterday, was ready to get traded to Philadelphia, but he’s now on his way to Seattle. They’re likely going to move a couple more pieces too. Their minds are not in baseball mode because they have zero ideas what their team is going to look like. Good on the Brewers for attacking them early. Let’s hope they can do it again tonight.
