Jrue Holiday Continues His Dominant Summer By Owning the Olympics

Jrue Holiday is having himself a year. He is now an NBA champion. And if things go well for him, he will also be a gold medalist. Holiday is having a huge impact on what the Americans are doing for USA basketball. He only scored eleven points, but the defense that Holiday provided was unmatched. It wasn’t related to USA basketball, but Mitch mentioned on the podcast yesterday how Holiday finally got respect around the league because of this Finals’ run. You coupled that with what he’s doing in Tokyo, and the dude might be treated like Milwaukee’s second star (It’s Khris).

What a summer for Jrue Holiday. He’s been the 2nd most important Team USA guy behind KD for 2 weeks, and BTW, those have been our only 2 indispensable guys. Any time it’s tense they have to be out there.

Get rid of the probably.
Not even sure there is an argument for anyone else. https://t.co/AgVh3tgPcW

Holiday finished with 11-8-8 in this one. He will be a real problem for Luka Doncic if Slovenia advances (They play France this morning). One thing to pay attention to in this game from overnight. I know it’s FIBA, but he made Patty Mills look very bad in this one. Mills is a guy that everyone praised Brooklyn for getting and if this guy struggles against the top competition in the Eastern Conference, that’s a problem.
