Rowdy Tellez Loves All The Support from the Brewers Fans
Rowdy Tellez joined the Milwaukee Brewers about a month ago. Milwaukee flipped a reliever for Tellez. He had a great season last year but faded a bit this year. David Stearns jumped on the opportunity to have a legitimate option at first base. Milwaukee’s first base position has been a carousel with different guys going in and out this year. It appears that Milwaukee may have found something with Tellez. He hit a huge three-run homer yesterday in a pinch-hit role. He talked about the support and love that Brewers’ fans have shown him in the short time he’s been here. It will make your heart melt.

Rowdy Tellez said he hasn't heard chants like this since his emotional debut with Toronto in 2018. "This is like home. This is like I've been here for a while. Everybody was just open arms when I came in."

What can you say about Brewers’ fans? They’re great. Some of the best in baseball. They love hard and like anyone who is mashing dingers. Also, I mentioned this in a game review before, but if you’re a big guy who plays a sport in Wisconsin, it’s likely we’ll like you. The body type is similar to a lot of us here, so, we’re living vicariously through you.
Look man, this team is special. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. There is something here. More so than in 2018. This sounds like a good podcast segment to me honestly, but it’s something about that it’s the sum of all parts versus just Christian Yelich. 2018 was more than Yelich, but he felt like the main reason that Milwaukee made this run. Right now, it’s everybody, every part of the Brewers’ team that is all in on this ride.
