Milwaukee Brewers are Major League Baseball’s Road Warriors
Milwaukee Brewers enjoy their time away from American Family Field. Now, that is no disrespect to the great fans that fill up the stadium or their families, but the Brew Crew just love playing on the road. With their win yesterday against the Pittsburgh Pirates (2-1), the Brewers are now 40-20 on the road. That is the best record in baseball by a longshot, and it’s their best franchise record at the moment. The best that the Brewers ever did on the road was 14 games over .500 when they went to the World Series in 1982. Hope everyone understands what a special year this is for the Brewers.
The Brewers are 40-20 (.667) on the road this season.
Their best road winning percentage ever was in 1982, when they were 47-33 (.588) away from County Stadium.

Milwaukee will try to continue their success on the road this week when they play St. Louis starting on Tuesday night. That will wrap up a 10-game, 11-day road trip that the Brewers are currently on where they’ve played two doubleheaders already. The Brewers are currently 6-1 on the road trip. In all honestly, if the Brewers stumble and only win one game, it’s not the end of the world. Hate saying that because it’s the fucking Cardinals, but it’s true. 7-3 road trips will always play. The last time the Brewers lost a series on the road was in New York back in early July, so, I wouldn’t bet on them slowing down this week.
