No One Likes Dominating the Cubs More Than Brandon Woodruff

Last night, most Milwaukee fans were down bad. The Giannis injury is something that many Milwaukee fans will remember for a long time. People will probably forget or do not know that the Milwaukee Brewers are up to five games on the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central. And the Brewers are a season-high 13 games over .500. They are waiting for Bucks fans whenever the season wraps up. The Brewers won another series from the Chicago Cubs. That’s been the standard for the season. Brandon Woodruff loves pitching against the Cubs. He dominates them and did it again on Tuesday night.

Here’s what Woodruff has done this season against the Cubs. He has a 0.72 ERA in 25 innings with 10 hits allowed in total and two runs overall. He has struck out 30 Cubs already this season which means he has well over a strikeout per inning against this team. Cubs’ batters go to bed and have nightmares of facing off against Woodruff. You would think they’d figure him out, but it has not occurred at this point. Milwaukee will go for a sweep against Chicago this afternoon. Pure house money game for Milwaukee. They have a bullpen game starting with Aaron Ashby then we’ll see what else transpires as the game goes on. Without a day off until next Thursday, it would be nice for the Brewers to not use their entire bullpen.
