Mike Evans & Colin Kaepernick Are Losers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was the latest to protest during the National Anthem. Evans did it to protest United States electing Donald Trump as the 45th President. Later in an Instagram post, we found out Mike Evans didn’t vote at all. We heard last week that Colin Kaepernick decided not to vote as well. He gave his rational today.

That’s one of the most ass backwards thing I’ve heard in a long time. Here’s the thing if you want change, you vote. Even if you don’t agree with the presidential candidates, vote for the local representatives whom are going to make change in the community. There’s no reason not to vote. If this is against what you’re kneeling for then what do you want? A communist nation where there’s a dictator? Even in a socialist society, there are elections with presidents. Kaepernick’s kneels feel completely hollow when he’s not voting in a monumental presidential election. Kamala Harris, the new California senator, was a great person to get behind for what Kaepernick is striving for and could have campaigned for her as a person carrying out your message in Washington.
As for Evans, he should have thought things through a little better. I’m sure he is bummed by the election results like other Americans, but if you don’t vote, it’s hard to feel sympathy for you. Evans lives in a state where the winner was decided by a very slim margin. That makes almost worse that he decided to sit out not only the anthem, but the election as well.
Charlie.
