Indians Fans Need To Get Over Themselves About Lucroy

For a city who has seen two teams make it to the final championship round in the last six months, Cleveland is still the same bitter, whining fanbase they’ve been since the start of time. . If you searched ‘Jonathan Lucroy Cleveland’ into Twitter last night, fans were still making jokes about how Lucroy should have been on roster, and how he regrets not joining Indians. Are you kidding me? It’s amazing to see a group of fans hung up on something so insignificant like that especially since they are cheering a team who won 9 of 10 postseason games and look to be the favorites heading into World Series. The other funny thing is it worked out for all parties involved that Lucroy vetoed the deal.
Apparently lots of adult Indians fans have nothing better to do after winning the pennant than tweeting at Lucroy. https://t.co/qlY4hxeAPr

Lucroy’s veto led to a better trade between Milwaukee and Texas. Lewis Brinson looks to be a star as well as good early returns from Luis Ortiz. Indians wouldn’t have Andrew fucking Miller if Lucroy decided to go to Cleveland. Think about that for a second… Fans care so much about Lucroy that they ignore the fact Miller wouldn’t be an Indian, and he’s a major reason why this team is in the World Series. It also worked out for Rangers catcher who is close to home and on a successful winning team. This shouldn’t be a story, but this perceived disrespected fanbase keeps bitching about it therefore the story remains in focus.
Grow up, Cleveland. You have a good team and Lucroy is in a good spot. Move on so you become more likable.
Charlie.
